We been getting ready for school to start next week. Anna had open house at her school and we went and met all her teacher. She will be starting middle school we do have some concerns about her be there, but we will give a try. She very excited to start and make more friends.
Anna's treatment went well with no problems, but we didn't get to see our doctor. We hoping to see her on our next visit. We did met with our students doctors who took care of Anna last year, when she was admitted. It was good to see them, they have only this year left of residency. We hoping they will still stay with Doernbecher and OHSU!!! Right Jasdeep and Tammy?? ;-)
After treatment we went to friends house and later that day Anna found out that her line is missing cap. We didn't know how long it is been missing or how it got lost, but it did, this is second time happen in 2 month. We did let doctor on call know what happen, but didn't got any antibiotics to prevent infection. I don't know how long it will take to get, but we praying that it won't happen. We have lots of things going on this month and we don't need any infections that is for sure.

Other kids are doing well. Louisa and Enoch got to go to State fair and they had blast. Misha's Birthday coming up next week, he will be 9yr. old Wow my baby is getting BIG.

You remember we lost one of our birds, so one day we got a call that one bird needs home we got it. She is very tame and loves everyone. We hope her tail will grow very soon ;-)

Our friend Kegan is doing ok, he got his second chemo dose. He still not eating or drinking and her is on feeding tube 24/7 please continue to pray for him.

First i want to tell u thanks for your prayers and support.
We had very busy and emotional week, because our family friend found out that their nephew Kegan has very aggressive cancer. We went to visit him several times and he got his first chemo last Friday.

Anna is been doing well still continue to get treatments every other week. Only concern we have she is been complaining that her head hurts, if it will be continue i will have to take her up to Doernbecher before her treatment day on Thursday.
Anna will be attending middle school this year, there she will be moving from one classroom to the other and that can be easier to become sick. If she will be having health problems, then we will have to homeschool her. She will be riding special medical bus and she is not excited about it. Anna want to be treated like normal and nothing happening with her, but right now it is not an option. Maybe next year;-)
September is our very busy month and we need Anna stay healthy for all things she has coming up.

Louisa can't wait to be back in High school to see her friends, i can't believe she will be in 10th grade. Enoch will be in 8th grade and Misha is in 4th. Enoch is not sure about going back to school he would love to homeschool, but that is not an option right now. Misha is been funny walking around saying to everyone that he wants to be TAG student (Talent and Gifted) LOL

We went to the Zoo last wed. it was fun, they had special day only for families with medical life threatening conditions. They had awesome stuff for the kids and free train rides for everyone.

Noah: I didn't, it's just a skid mark cause I didn't wipe.

MOM: why didn't you wipe or ask mom for help? Noah: I didn't have TP. Me: there is tp in the bathroom.

Noah...: I didn't poop in the bathroom, I went on the tree in the backyard.

Anna had her treatment yesterday it went very well. There is not much changes except that her HCT went a tiny bit down, but there no concerns on that. She still has her mysterious rash, dr. think her skin is very sensitive to everything, so we will just keep eye on it;-)
Last week Anna, Misha, Enoch and I went to Camp Lane for whole week. I was kids camp and i was be able to help there, i am not ready to send Anna for whole week with out me and also she was need it to flush her lines everyday
All kids had blast there even with some limits, that Anna had, she be able to have fun.

Prayer request

Please pray for our dear friend and single mom to 3 beautiful boys. She noticed that her oldest son lost a weight and took him to the doctor. They send them to local hospital and from there they transfer him to Doernbecher Children hospital. He is 13 yo. and his name Kegan.
Also Anna will have her treatments and labs done today.
I will update later today after Anna's appointment.

Anna is been doing well with her treatments going every other week. Anna did however developed some kinda rash our doctor is not that concerned about it.
Next week Anna, boys and I will be going to kids cam for 5 days. We praying that she will stay healthy with no problems. Anna decided not to bring swim suit as she knows she can't get wet ;-) Less thing for me to worry about.
On Saturday we went to participate in Air Challenge, this is wonderful organization they let kids to get on airplanes for 15-20 min. and let them experience the flight and let them steer it. Anna had to choose who will go with her and she decided to take Louisa and Hailey. Also my friend be able to come with her kids as she has 2 kids with special needs and my boys got to ride with one of them. Everyone got a blast day and can't wait to do it again next year. Anna want to make sure that next year mommy gets to got with her ;-) They got to do some other stuff, building things, riding special bikes. They they got BIG balloons i think they call them weather balloons, we tried to get them in the van. It was fun ride home

Anna is been doing well, Our doctor is back from vacation and prescribed her antibiotic to prevent any infections. Anna will have her treatment this Wednesday we praying that her labs will stay good, so we can continue go every-other week.
We had great weekend.
1. We had family reunion:
We went to Waterloo park to see everyone. Most of the families stayed at camp site whole last week. We just went for the day on Saturday and everyone had a blast. Kids didn't want to leave. We will try go overnight next year.

2. On Sunday we had Starlight Foundation Family Art day.
They had California Pizza Kitchen provided dinner for everyone. There was 15 families. Kids had lots of fun and they won some prizes ;-)

Urgent prayer request:

Anna's cap from one of her lines came off and we don't know how long it is been gone. There is concerning that she might get blood infection in the next few days. There is nothing we can do on our side it just to pray that it won't happen.

Just want to let everyone know and keep Anna in your prayers

Anna will be skipping her treatments this week for the first time since January and we going every other week. Last week her labs showed that that her HCR went down a little. Usually when it goes down they give her Epogen(to help her build up her blood cells), but they didn't. I am worry about what her labs will be this week (we will get them done here local so we don't have to drive to DCH) and our doctor is on vacation until end of this week. Also her line area is giving a problems and we have to change her dressing everyday.
Yesterday at our church Anna went to ask pastor Mike to pray for one of her friends and also received prayer for her healing. Some people came up and give her very strong WORD about her going out and pray for her friends at the hospital.
Also Anna is asking to pray for her two friends who is very sick, their names Lilly (she has cancer) and BriAnna she has CF

We got a letter today, we officially going to our trip for Anna's Make a Wish in October. Can u guess where she is going? She is been waiting for it since January when we applied. We didn't know if her dr.A will let her go, because of limits. Our dr.A is more excited to sign all her papers and let her go have fun!!.
Anna is been doing well and staying healthy with treatments. Next week we will be going on every other week and see how she will do. Now that i am been thinking about our dr.A decision i am OK with it and we all praying that she won't relapse when they will stop her treatment. If her body does get relapse then research group will be starting taking kids for study and Anna will be receiving new medication. It is very promising, there are few people that already taking it and they doing great. We been following their updates and so far they didn't need plasma treatment or any hospital stay.

We been enjoying stay out of hospital and just have normal days of summer play. Other kids been doing well, but Misha sometimes still gets jealous on Anna getting more attention then him and he decided he wants to be sick too. We had long talk with him to help him understand, that hospital is not the play u want to be. We are trying to get some times with each kid, so that way they don't felt left out.

We had wonderful time with our friends and following day trip to American Idol concert.
Anna is been doing well with weekly treatments and will be going to every other week starting July 15. Doctors also reduce her blood pressure medications ;-).
Our plan for now is to finish her treatments sometimes in the fall. Doctors hope that when we will stop she won't go in to relapse for awhile maybe year or two, even when last time they tried to stop it came back with in 3-4 weeks. If she will go in relapse, then our hope that research will be available and she be able to get new medication. If she relapses again with in 3-4 weeks, then we have to start all over with treatments and hopefully, that her kidney will stay healthy. With genetic testing we will wait until study is available.

Hi everyone.
We had been busy with summer.

In our town movie theaters playing free movies and i love taking kids there, even they already seen them, but they love it.



Anna is been doing very well with her treatments and she is a little upsad about not allowing her to swim. She is trying every time other kids in the pool bugging me about it, in hope i will let her go in "sorry girl, that won't work'. i can understand her it is not fair to her, but there is what we have to do.
Last wed. on 24th we had Starlight Family night out. Kids had so much fun decorating canvas, for one company. They will be making bags for Starlight foundation.






Today we had Special Olympics. Anna and Louisa got to sing National Anthem and did some other volunteering. My group did very well and i am very prod of them.

We had our trip to Portland yesterday, for Anna't treatments. It went very well, Anna's labs are staying up for last 2 week. They stopped her epogen(blood buster)and she will be off until her labs will start go down. It is so exiting to have less medications and i hope it would be stay that way, so she won't need it.
Our plans for now is her treatment once a week with no changes. Sometimes i want to ask our Dr. if we can go to every other week, but we just wait a little more before we go that direction. There is also new medication will be available very soon and we hopping to get Anna in to the study for it. It is very promising and Anna will have more normal life like any other kids.
