hi

Hi everyone,

Alisha here updating for Sveta. Hailey and I spent the night at the hospital with them on Saturday. They are keeping in good spirits but very ready to go home. I do not understand all the number stuff clearly but I can say Annas kidney numbers are holding. She still looks Jaundice but is not requiring dialysis. Her blood and plasma are not going up enough yet. They have to stay in the hospital until those numbers start going up.The doctor was optimistic Sunday afternoon that Anna is on the upswing though :) We had an interesting experience when leaving the hospital. We entered an elevator that did not go to the Lobby so we decided to stop off at the 7th. floor. We felt we new that floor well. We got off the elevator and it dropped us in the back hallways with doctors offices. All offices were closed it was Sunday. We went to the front and the door closed behind us. The door was now locked. We headed over to the elevators and pushed the button. None of them were working! We started to laugh. Everything was dark and obviously closed down. So we headed for the stairs. Louisa started down the flight of stairs and met with a sign that said STOP if you go any farther an alarm with sound! Hailey and Louisa really started to laugh now, they thought this was great. We wandered around for awhile and decided to to see if we could climb up the stairwell. There was no sign so we decided to give it a try. Sveta and I carrying Anna's wheelchair up the flight of stairs!:) We made it with out meeting security at the top!

Have a great day!

hi

Hi, Everyone!!!
Anna is doing better today as our family together (it is also our 15th anniversary) She is running her favorite wheelchair race with her siblings. Her blood count still dropping but it is very slow... her kidneys work better. We need her blood counts to go UP. She might be coming home this Sunday if her blood will start to go up. Only disappointment she had was that she won't be able to back to Gymnastics for at least 6 weeks or until her blood counts are too 200 as right now is 28. So talk to the doctors to see if we have any other options of treatments. They will be talking to the head doctor to see what they can do. Last time it worked last faster because she had different treatment. This time she has sound like long recovery option
That is our update.

HI, everyone.
Anna had hard time last night and today as they had to pock her every time they had to get her labs. She cry every time they did and asking when she gets to go home. She is not handling emotionally well this time as she did last time She did had IV line in, but that one didn't want to work, so they put central line in on her neck this afternoon for labs and in case she will need it dialysis. So far she been receiving platelets and frozen plasma. Her potassium went down after they try to give her nasty medicine and she did throw that one up every time she took, i guess it did the trick anyway. Now we need her blood numbers to go up and kidney function go down.
Today here they had bingo game, and Anna wanted to play, but she gad to go to get her line placed. Sa soon as she got up her was only concern if she made it for the game. She did play last 15 min.
Have a great evening

Anna Update
Hi this is Alisha typing for Sveta.

Anna went to her procedure to put a line in for her transfusions. She woke and first thing she said was. "Are we done in time to go play bingo"? Everything went fine. They are wanting to put her on a low potassium diet. In the past this has not worked. I Sveta am frustrated with the doctors. We keep getting new ones and they all have there own ideas about what to do.That is pretty much it. I would love to have visitors. It is lonely and kind of difficult.
