Well, Anna still in the hospital. Her level still dropping they eventually decided to give her , this is not in our best interest, but this is only choice we had to be able to get her treatment go for tomorrow. Every time she gets , it is less chances for her to be able to get kidney transplant if she ever needed.
We received some new that very discouraged Anna and me, Dr. told as today, that she most likely will have her line for whole year and be on plasma exchange every week. They will NOT try to give her brake from it. This means Anna won't be able to go back to the Gymnastics or even just swimming or get wet in the summer. She is having really hard time with this news.
I have some picture of her, i will be posting them after we get home.

Today Anna got her second treatment, but her numbers still going down. She had some trouble with her treatment reaction we actually had to get her to sleep, to be able to last long enough. She is more pale and with spots, but she has her friend staying here with us, so she doesn't get board, also we been doing "American Idol"

So the plan is right now we waiting for her labs results, then see if she needs transfusion. If she does, then they want to run at night, thru her line that one has only one stitch, that means no sleep for at least 4 hours, then get treatment and then send us home, my plan to get her in the morning and then her treatment. So we will see who will win :-). We do want to go home, but i don't want everything in rush and then comeback here again for another stay.

Here are some update on Anna. Anna didn't got her treatment until later today, so she is more pale. We still have 2 more days of treatment and we should be able to go home. Then we will have to start all over again go 2 time a week, then once a week. Anna is very holding her self well, she was supposed to get her line out this coming Tue, but now we will be stuck with it for at least 3 more month.
Please pray

1. For her treatments times as she gets some reactions to them, so she is on several medications for it plus steroids with it.

2. For our finances as i can't work right now, and i need make decision if i should just stay home. I need God's guide on it.

What a week we had.
Since last week we been having snow, snow, frizzing rain and more snow. We think we will have white Christmas after all. I don't remember since i been here in last 14yr to have White Christmas. Here are some pictures.

Here are the pictures of ice on our trees and our car.
It was about good half an inch on it.

Then last night we had some trees fall.

Because of fallen trees we lost our electricity. We found only 3 candles and we set and talk for about an hour, then send everyone to bed. Next morning we got our power back.

Today the forecast was promised just a rain all day, but we had SNOW all day long. We took our kids for hill slides We had so much fun.

Then we went to look at Christmas lights

Tomorrow (Tuesday) we have to travel to the hospital for her labs. It will probably takes us to get there about 2 hours with this weather. Please keep as in your prayers, specially Anna's labs will be better. We want to get closer to get her line out.
Thanks

This picture we took at the hospital Anna and her friend Julia

We had our trip to the hospital Tuesday instead of today. Our roads is pretty icy, but i had to get Anna to Doernbecher hospital because today we supposed to get even more snow.
So we made it there and back. It took us 2 hours to get there and 3 hours to get back with slow traffic. In case you wonder, Oregonians can't really drive fast on icy roads. Our roads not build for snow they build for rain. That is why our kids even don't have school if we have 2-3 inch of snow.

I didn't got results from our dr. yet, but we know she is stable with out the treatment. I heard a few numbers went a little down but it is not a concern at this time.
We did talk about some genetic testing they want to get it done, but we don't know if our insurance will pay for it. This testing can't be done in US only in Germany or Canada. In Canada they not ready for testing yet, so our option will be try the Germany. Right now we will be waiting to hear if our insurance will pay for it.

Our finances are very tight, so i will be trying to make some fleece blankets to raise money for her testing. I will post some of my kids blankets, so you will get some idea. They won't be tie blankets, i like to make with silky binding. It can be two sided or one it will be your choice. If you would like to order one, please let me know.

We went to Christmas light parade last night. We missed parade for last 2yr. so we been waiting for it.

It is snowing here.
Usually we don't get snow around here at this time of the year.

We went to Doernbecher hospital for labs and visit with our DR. Yes, we finally be able to sit and talk with her.
Here are few concern things:
1. Her blood pressure is a little high, they added another medication., so she is on 2 meds.
2. Her urine still has blood and protein in it.
3. Her line is holding on one stitch.

They would like to save her line at least until New year, i don't know if her line will last that long with one stitch on it. She does not have tape over it, do to her allergy, so we have to be very careful with it. Other wise she is doing very well.

On Tuesday we had Great Escape with Starlight Foundation
We went on STERNWHEELER ROSE. My kids never been on any kind of boats before. We had a great time. Here are some pictures

Anna's labs been good, they started to go up again :-), but in the same time time her other number also start to go up. We don't want them ALL go up, we would like to see them go where they need to be. We know for sure she won't need her treatment this week.

Her blood pressure is still a little up, so they adding another medication for that and we waiting to hear when they will be doing another testing.

Yesterday she had her First concert at school. She was a little scared, but she did it great.

We did our trip to Doernbecher. Anna's labs are stable for right now, but there is showing that her numbers starting go down:-( I expected this news as Anna has some symptoms, that showing her AHUS still there. This is not what we want to see. Our dr. will be contacting blood specialist to see what else can we do.We have to get more labs done on Friday and next Monday, if there will be changes, then we have to go to the hospital. Doctors and us, we hopping that everything will be stopping and Anna will be in remission.
