We went to Doenbecker today

We got a call today from our doctor to come early instead of 3 pm, so i had to awake Anna up and get her in the car. We made it in 45 min. :-) I don't speed, but i like fest lane. I don't do well driving on freeways in the middle lane, i usually start panic.
When we got there they had fire alarm going, some kid pushed button that set alarm off. We had nice visit with out Dr. did we told you we like her very much. Anna got her dressing change and we need to go back next Thursday again. She also got to visit with her friends that still there.

Today we going for our check up at the Doernbecker. Anna should fine to come home today after her appointment. We did labs yesterday, her platelet went up so other stuff too, but at the same time her LDH (witch it is her blood disorder) went up too. I don't know how long it takes to get way up, that she will need another treatment. That poor girl, doesn't have her own blood anymore it is pretty much donated. I am so glad for people who donates their blood, so my little one and other kids can be safe.

Please continue pray not only for Anna but for other kids too. There some group of parents who pray for kids like Anna every Monday, we need more people to commit to pray every Monday for them :-)

Our Gang

We are home :-)

We finally home. Anna still pretty much anemic, her blood levels still very low. Yesterday lab showed that her numbers still going down but very slow. They decided to send us home and we have to come back on Thursday.
Anna is very excited to be home. We will be working on getting her to school. School will be starting next week and she is not enrolled yet.
More updates latter. :-)

Today Anna slept till 10 AM in the morning. I didn't let any one to come to our room until she is up, same will be happening tonight.
She got her last treatment today. This morning her labs showed, that her kidney function got better, but her blood levels still dropping. We have more labs tomorrow morning. We hopping it will start to go up.
Please continue to pray for her.

Hi, Everyone
Sorry for not giving you any updates yesterday. I had hard time, i didn't even answers any one's phone calls, as today we doing better. Anna got her line placed yesterday and got her first plasma exchange it went pretty well. Today by the end of her treatment, line didn't work very well. We will try it again tomorrow we are hopping that her line will work. As time for us to go home is set for Monday :-) but it depends on Anna's labs if it will go where we want them to go, then we should be good to go. I will post some pictures latter tonight.

Waiting...

Anna had better night last night. This morning I didn't let any doctors to see her until she was awake. They really respected that, that helped me to feel, that i do have some sorta power over them :-) She received 2 FF plasma last yesterday, that helped some #go up, but this morning lab showed that they went back down again. At this point they planning to give her rest today more FF plasma and transfusion and they will put permanent line in.

She met some kids here her age, so now she usually playing at their rooms. This morning Anna was in her friend room and doctor came in to check on her in our room, but she wasn't there. Anna likes to play hide and sick game with them. As soon as she is up she is out of her bed and her room, and she will make her bed, so it will look like she is under and still sleeping. She is funny and trying make her stay more fun. Today is BINGO game here, she can't wait to get prize :-) Yesterday she got very nice blanket with butterfly, i will try to take picture and posted here. IF anyone would like to come and visit her room# 19 on 9Th floor.

Long night

It is been very long night. Nurses been coming almost every hour. Her IV line didn't work for drauing for labs, so she had to be poked. Then they had to give her some magnesium as it was to low. She was hooked up to heart monitor, so it was wires and wires.... This morning Dr. decited give another shot for FF Plasma 2 times and see if that will improve her labs. If that won't work then she will have to get permanent line and they will have to do plasma exchange tommorow. Her pressure is going up, they will have to addjust her medicines.

We are back in the hospital :-(

Hi, everyone.
Here we are back in the hospital :-(




Anna's platelets went down to 77 from last week labs 211. Right now she is receiving FF Plasma, if that won't help her overnight she will have to get permanent line on her chest (she never had that one done). She will get her labs done later tonight and tomorrow morning, then they will be able to decided if she need permanent line. If they place that line we have to decided how often she needs transfusion done, then they can let as go home and we had to comeback at least 2-3 times a week for plasma exchange (where they take her plasma and give her new one). It will be a lots of driving to DCH and back. We hopping that tonight treatment will stop everything and she won't needed line on her chest.

FFF--Back to school

Some blogs are having their kids alredy started school. Our kids don't start untill September 8. Also Anna been homeschooled, but this year she will be going to school. We will see how it will go, if she will get relaps again, she will be back home. So i will just post some pictures :-)

Hi, everyone.

First we want to say thank you everyone for your prayers and notes and financial help.

Anna's body is slowly building up blood cells, it reached up to 200 another 150 to go. She can't wait to get beck to gymnastics, as she knows that her competitions will be starting next month. She just got moved to level 5 right before she end up in Doenbecker. Her blood pressure still a straggle a little. She is having bottom numbers a little high. We will be going to Doenbecker on Monday for check up. Her rash is back on her neck, and we can't see dermatologist yet until we will get referral for it.

We made decision about sending Anna to school it was hard decision, but we hoping it will work out.

We making website for Anna for those who would like to follow her updates and there will be spot for donations if you would like to sponsor for her sports or medical stuff.

Here is prayer request:

1. Her blood pressure is down

2. Her blood cells continue to grow.

3. Back to gymnastics

4. Safe trip to doctor visit and comeback with good news.

5. Her rash to go away.

We trying to sell our metal bunk bed. It is read color, the top is twin size the bottom is full and comes with regular mattresses. If anyone interested, please let as know. We will take best offer.
